before i forget.
i want to thank tony and joe at TCDESIGNFAB.COM.
the car was delivered to their shop immediately after purchase. ok, not immediately, it took 25 min to drive it there from the dealership. they did EVERYTHING in 4 weeks.
on paper, it seems easy to build a little spec car. but in reality there are lots of little details they sweated on while i just cracked the whip.... ( i am in mgmt, i manage, i do nothing hahaha) obviously the big things they got it right, but it's the small stuff that makes the car what it is.
they cut off all the use less bolts in the tub to reduce wt.
remounted the shifter so it's higher and easier for me to shift.
center net, not required but for my safety.
adjusted the seat 50x to get my *** at the right spot in the car relative to the str wheel.
installed strange things per my request, like a cup holder in the gutted door cavity, i drove the bugger to track.
re did the door opener several times b/c i wanted the pull to be matched left and right side to within 1mm.
tested the car and alignment on track for me until the car is easy to drive fast.
secret tire air pressue since i run different pressure on each corner, proprietary.
too many other things i cant remember right now.
oh, tony, i am still not happy.
car is going to you tomorrow for waxing and polishing.
i heard wax reduce drag coefficient and i could gain 2 sec per lap at TH.
i prefer zymol estate.

ps. Thanks for all the photos (looking forward to some video ...) and for the recent chance passersby, I'm kidding with Mooty and I'm actually really impressed to see one of us amateur track junkies "go big" and get into wheel to wheel racing. Bravo The Mooty!

A few laps around Thunderhill
Practice session in a Spec Boxster (and not as fast as John)

.......and a video in my other car: 996 GT3 RSR. Note - video quality is not great due to high in-car vibration and simple video camera). This is the first time the driver drove the car in over two years, and only got in a few laps in before being black-flagged for sound (108 db). Nonetheless, enjoy the music!!

Fred you drove very well. I liked the lines you chose. Your 2:07:1 Sunday morning was the 3rd fastest lap of the weekend in a Spec Box!....
The RSR is a beautiful machine with sound to match. I can hear Blake coming up behind me in his RSR even when I'm in my cup....

John: Congrats on your race victory! I wish I could have been there. I'm looking forward to seeing you race with us in PRC in April instead of waiting for the next PCA race at Buttonwillow.
