Default Blowin' & Snowin' but 65 degrees in my garage!

I am loving my new Ducane gas ceiling mounted heater. Set the thermostat and enjoy. Garage & doors are insulted.
I should have done this years ago. Now for the new Gladiator storage stuff. Cave livin' is fun.

Nice! Question: Is there any condensation with these units and do they require a drip pan or external line for same (like internal gas/propane heaters do) ?? Thinking of doing a propane job in mine... Already have the fridge/stereo/seating, etc ;-) Thx in advance!

PS - true 'man-box' to quote the advert ;-)

My heater looks very similar, but I had to vent to the outside. It has a natural gas line. I think I paid $400 for this heater 4 years ago. My garage is 24 x 24 and all cement. This heater works very well and it has no problem keeping it 70 all the time. Hope this helps.

The Ducane I have is natural gas, with exterior vent, &110 v. No drip pan.
$2000 installed. Installers had to run a gas line up and over a room to get it to the garage.

Thx guys. Venting out is no problem as mine is free standing (28x32). I was concerned re condensation tho - I am insulated, BUT have an open ridge vent system (which will have to be closed to the interior via a false or drop ceiling). I have yet to completely close the same in with drywall as I am looking into lifts and want the same in first (to be sure of insulated ceiling height - the roof pitch is 14/12 so available height is no issue). A good bud is in HVAC and likes the Modine line.

Default garage heater

I don't have any trouble with condensation and I don't have a drip pan either. I have heard that natural gas does create moisture, but I don't think these heaters burn enough gas to create enough moisture to be a problem. I have a dehimuidifier in my shop but it only goes on in the summer. The humidity is very low while using this heater. I would highly recommend one of these, they work very well. Here is the link to their websit:

I have not affiliation to them. Hope this helps.
