with regard to GT3 mkt, i am with you. it will continue to drop.
it's not bottom'd yet.
but this is a strange mkt, as there are always ppl who must have it today so they can play with it.

Went ahead and pulled the trigger on the 3200 mile Dallas CPO car at a smokin' price. Pending personal inspection it's a done deal and only a 180 mile drive south to bring it home......

Well, my compliments to you for being so gentlemanly. You could have driven a far more vicious reply. The first 250.89 points to you.
Keep in mind that if you're right, we're all the worse. And if I'm right, well, only the sky is falling.
I imagine the howls of "off topic!" as fellow Rennlisters notice this thread, but I've been around here as member (and erstwhile sponsor) long enough to do whatever the hell I please or be damned.
So let's watch this unfold and I expect we'll see how the institutional traders shake the money tree while the retail customer hears the coins fall out of their pockets.
By a powerful, skilled feat of trickery and treachery, the country and the whole world have been fooled by an apple dropping on their head, that the sky is indeed falling. People long on "sky" will prosper from these little days.
As for that arcane peephole into the markets, the Dow made sense last century, but not today, so whatever way it records its market history, it does not portend the real economic sky falling.
As for me, I'm selling put premium into these sell-offs, so if I'm wrong and I never post to Rennlist again, either the moderators flexed their digital might or I couldn't afford to pay my Internet access bill. : )

Nicely done. I've often been swayed by the "bucket-list / bus" philosophy in recent years.

Thanks CGT,
Yea' the 'ol "bucket-list / bus" philosophy will sure put things into perspective.
I am going to have to offset the car purchase with several trips with the wife in '09: (win, win situation)

Cyclades here we come........("crew" needed)

Good luck with Momentum, I've purchased two cars there and I never fully get what I'm expecting when I talk to them.. they like to slide the numbers around for 2-3 hours after you already tell them you have a set out the door price.
I live in Houston if you want me to go over and take a look at that car, I am old friends with the parts guy there and he can get the inside scoop if you think the car has anything odd.

Thanks for the generous offer however I got the 3K mile CPO car at Park Place...

H2R is still flat and smooth, they have a site at http://www.harrishillroad.com and they can do visitors with members finally (insurance) if any of you want to go to take a look, PM me and I'll set it up. I usually go up there once or twice a month
MSR CCW was great, it's violent in the CW direction though some of the bumps are brutal but the traction is amazing.
