can you clean it if you dump oil all over, inc brake fluid?

lovely cars and garage.
Floor is tiny pebbles epoxied together (see below). It's 25-years old and no peeling. You can dump on it and it doesn't stain, but you'd have to power wash it to get the fluid out from between the pebbles. I think epoxy with vinyl chips is better.

Agreed. Should only be RS, no GT3, and they should as many as people will buy.

thanx for the pic.
never seen any design like that, but makes sense, and strong enough for jacks.

i like the herringbone brick pavers outside too.

oh and the "small" stable you got in there aint too shabby either

How I hate that floor! I think my knees and elbows still have indentations from those bloody pebbles. Probably was the hot ticket in the 70's, but it makes a lot of noise with the floor jack, the jack stands never seem quite stable and cleaning it is nigh on impossible. Aargh! : )

I agree. I've heard surfaced and sealed concrete may be even better than epoxy... no lifting or fading.

Sorry, back to "Market value GT3 VS RS"...

I suspect prices will start to come down a little quicker now that the new GT3 is out in the open.

The delta between GT3 and RS will depend a lot on the next RS.

From what I see the next RS might lower the current RS a bit when it arrives in 3.8 or Ohmygod 4.0. just like the regular GT3.

I was worried about the new engines, but they aced the new car I think and so the next RS

The delta will go back to 15K I suspect right around the delivery time of the next RS..

I agree with the new GT3 costing $112,200 with 3.8L GT1-style motor, no sunroof (rumored), lightened flywheel, and other improvements, I don't know why a used 997GT3RS wouldn't sell for considerably less than that...

Yes, I think it is hard to argue for an RS price similar to the new GT3 with the 3.8.

Unless you have an 3.8RS :-)

So how will the new 2nd generation 997 GT3 affect the current prices of 997 GT3/RS. It appears the incoming non-RS has specs similar (lightweight flywheel, larger wing, ...) to the last RS.
