My point exactly, you had the option. But if you don't have the ceramics you can't take them off. Or, more importantly put them back on for resale.

Miles - Price

3813 - $94,888
5448 - $95,900 (this one also had "or best offer")
4356 - $96,995 (did have nav, chrono, and sound)
4200 - $94,800 (new MPSC tires, also had "or best offer")
~10K - $92,500 (this one is silver and not on Ebay)

I'm not disappointed or surprised, but IMHO, all of these cars look like they are in mint condition (I know pictures do not tell the whole story); and if they are, then I think they are currently the best sports car deal on the planet.

They have plenty of warranty left, and any one of them can be certified for $2 to 2.5K if the buyer plans on keeping the car for some time down the road.

Just my opinion, and I hope I have not offended anyone who might be selling their GT3. Keep in mind these are 2007 models without PCCB and very little options (just the way I like them). So they are about $10-15K off of MSRP after 2 years. A 10-15% deprecation after 2 years is actually really good, and these are the lowest priced cars. Of course the mileage of these cars is way below average; really kind of sad. Mine is a 2008 and it is just over a year old and it has about 11K miles on the clock.
Remember these are 'asking or advertised prices' and not actual sale prices. Typically anyone writing a check in this market will expect a substantial incentive.

PCH is right - these are asking prices, not sale prices. See this link for completed auctions. There are relatively low bids and nearly no sales.

I don't think I noticed any 997-3 selling from that list...

Buyers are very very scarce. Actual cash buyers almost non-existent. This fact will continue to put downward pressure on the high end sports car market.

What happened to the mark-ups?
$10K-$15K is like the lowest mark-ups I saw when the 7GT3's start showing up at the dealers... Dare I say, I have seen $40K!

That is another story alltogether. I am basing my research off of MSRP for a regular GT3. I think that most on this board paid MSRP for their brand new (built to spec) regular GT3's. For the RS, I would guess that most paid over MSRP; although on this board, I would not be surprised if it were closer to a 50/50 split on RS prices; since I seem to remember quite a few mentioning they purchased their RS at MSRP.

I know, and I meant to post that next. I wanted to watch those auctions and see the final results and post those, but I forgot to do it.

Thank you though for bringing up this very important point.

Thanks for the info, but the link did not work for me. Do you happen to have the item numbers for the 4 cars I mentioned?
