Porsche allows some edge chips. From an article on PCCBs from Total911"officially two x 10mm (and a maximum of three damaged areas per disc) is acceptable, although you might feel otherwise".
Total911 did a 3 part story on PCCBs in issues 48, 49, and 50. While the back issues are probably sold out you can buy the 1st 50 issues on a CD. Visit the Total911 website and follow the links.
I bought this a few weeks ago and it cost around $33 after the currency exchange (and a charge for same was applied by my credit card company (AMEX) was done along with shipping and handling.
Sincerely,
Macster.

I have one small chip on each of my rears, essentially similar size as yours. No clue how/when it happened. Dealership looked at them and wasmt impressed, and didn't think any action was necessary.

damage like that usually occurs from tire changes without using the supplied wheel supports that screw into the hub and allow the wheel to slide straight out and go back on without touching the rotor...damage to the rotor rim usually calls for replacement...get your dealer to look at it...
I agree with GT3 Chuck....it's important to remember to use the wheel supports when removing the wheels as well as re-applying them
