Which is the traditional/classic/standard racing White for Porsche?

Carrara White?
GP White?

Thanks.

porsche has had many whites. i am not sure what is the "classical" white racing color, but it's NOT cararra white. carrara white is a "modern" color that came with water pumpers.

Just went to dealer and they said Carrara White is the modern Porsche racing color on those Cup cars. I have seen GP white too, somehow Carrara white look more white and better to my eyes.

Nice GT3 in your pic, I love GT3 in Carrara white!

Carrara White is really not that bright and the Cup cars should have a brighter white which IMO looks much better. I had a guy with an older white 911 pull up next to my Carrara white and it made mine look like crap! His was much brighter and pure; and much better looking.

Based on my extensive model collection, the 997 Cup cars are NOT Carrara white.

Whatever "good" white was in use.

And GP White was in use for a very, very long time. Thus, GP is "it" when it comes to traditional Porsche racing white.

Cups are Carrera White. GP white is quite muted, the whitest of the group is Glacier White which I don't believe has been in use since the 993's...

My RSA was GP white and next to glacier white(993), it looked like Ivory. Glacier white was dropped after the 993s.

Glacier White was available in 1998 & 1999 on 986/996 as well
It truly is the "whitest" and brightest of all the Porsche white colors...almost a blue tint. I had a '98 Boxster in Glacier and still my favorite color, much brighter than my CW GT3
