So if we assume that the OEM spring rates are 250 lbs and 600lbs, and If I was going to re spring my car this winter with the idea of wanting to make the rear stiffer, to allow a softer rear sway, what are the suggestions or prior setups with stiffer spring rates??

Frank,

- If you are not going to revalve, I would think you are going to have to stay within a 10 to maybe 15% spring limit increase not to overwhelm the dampeners - so maybe a linear 700 max for the rear.

- try it and see how it works

- if you are willing to revalve, then I would think looking at the KW and other after market spring rates sold in europe for the 996gt3 - i.e. in the 900# range is what you may want to "try"

I was under the impression that the front springs were 60mm. The rear are 60mm at the bottom and 71mm at the top. This measurement is unique to the Gt line from Porsche. It does make it a pain when changing springs unless you replace the hats and perches also.
