Couldn't agree more! Been through the BMW scene inside and out, but when there were people doing innovative stuff an extensive modifying/info such as myself, now it's how good those 20's look and how slammed you can get the car so the suspension does nothing for the car!

og- 25 hours of thunderhill...aka Survive the 25! I'll be racing my mx5 cup car there in december. it's north of sacramento...aka really far from Socal!

It's nice of you to compliment all of us on the forum here, and as I've told you, Eclou, and others- I've actually made a lot of real life friends via rennlist...and I find the quality of guys on this board as well as the 993 board where I got my start to be very helpful and knowledgeable.

this board has gotten a bit stale lately however- with lots of RMS leak stuff - but I partly blame you OG.

that's right...I haven't seen an anti- Nissan, anti- BMW brakes thread in days! lol

I'll send you that phiten gear when I get back from Road America (aka the best track in america)

Geesh how embarrassing I went to school in Chico. You think I would know that TH is
Thunderhill!

CJ Me too, I have some people I have met on Rennlist that are now lifetime friends.
thats ALOT better than any GT3 (Geesh I miss that car).
Who else can I call about racing 24/7?

Maybe you should quit complaining and start a Benz/AMG board that's to your liking....

mbworld is one of the biggest for Benz and they do have a big AMG section. You see a lot of members getting banned there too, compared to other boards. Most of the AMG crowd over there are stoplight warriors and straight line drivers.
You could also try mbonline I think it is mostly a west coast based membership, but have not been there in a while.

Where in the hell did that come from? Obviously not one of the guys I was talking about in the original post.

Just someone who tries to stir a pot. Dad must of let him on the computer today

OG, good post and I couldn't agree more. I've been p-carless for a few weeks now too and have frequented various Audi forums hoping to find a similar level of knowledge, intellect, humor and comradery only to be grossly disappointed. There is no other place like Rennlist!

I'm glad you're sticking around. I'm here through my p-car sabbatical which will hopefully end in a few short months. I know your situation is different but I can see you picking up a 993 with supple seats to get your 911 fix.

I saw Johns Car when he visited a couple weeks ago. its a nice cab too. I almost traded it for my red GT3 when I was having problems.
A 993 would be IT!! I wish I could buy CJs 993. If you guys have never had a 993, the smell of leather and oil reminded me of my old girlfriend!! Er ................ I mean the smell of a 993 is priceless!!
