The car is consigned by a friend of the salesman. He wanted to put me in touch with the owner right away as he doesn't know Porsches but did say that the car has a clean history and it's the original paint throughout. The original wheels are available and tint does come off. Apparently most inquiries are from out of state and the owner doesn't want to deal with the hassle of wires and shipping so he's considering selling to the local Porsche dealer possibly later today. He also alluded to the fact that there might be an extra $2k that can come off if someone jumps on it before it goes to the dealer. I'm out of the running on this one so best of luck to whomever can jump on it now. Please post if you do.

Great deal but a sign of things to come me thinks.

I wouldn't let that discourage you. If you're serious, give the guy a call.

I should also stress I have no affiliation to the seller.

That's a late year 07 and I guess my Oct 07 delivered 08 is real early because my VIN # is 2 past this car.

I don't see the bargain. An almost two years old used car with a $106k msrp ($93k invoice) selling for way above invoice?

I am still buggered by the NO GT3 in the Tach. i have owned many many many (2) GT3's and they have ALL had the GT insignia in the tachometer.
If I am buying a questionable car I want to answer all the questions I can and the first one would be the
GT3 insignia missing in the Tachomter. I would have put the OEM wheels back on to further show its a GT3 and settle any doubts that a prospective buyer may have.

OG...I thought so too...but the pic is of the speedo and not the tach...you can almost see the tac on the overall dash pic and it looks like the lower right corner of the GT3 logo is there....
