Default Torque specs, rear suspension

Quick question (I hope). Does anyone know the torque specs for the rears toe arms and the dog bones. Got my new shiny parts from Tarrett, and per Ira I'm supposed to use stock torque specs, except that I don't know what those are.

Much appreciated

LOL,
First, there is no spec-RS group since Terry showed up in his street legal cup car w carbon doors, cup wing, moton, short gears etc etc etc.

Second, I'm actually just trying to avoid destroying any more tires in 2.5 days because the allignment won't hold. My last set corded on the 3rd day, so with the above parts I'm hoping that it will just hold allignment better under hard acceleration/deceleration. Now if I bought those Motons that are mentioned somewhere in this forum.......

Default Torque Specs

See if this helps:

Toe control arm to wheel carrier - 56 ftlb
Toe control arm to cross member (toe eccentric) - 74 ftlb

Lower control arm to wheel carrier - 56 ftlb
Lower control arm to carrier side section (camber eccentric)- 74 ftlb

Control arm 3 and 4 (upper control arms) to carrier side section - 81.5 ftlb
Control arm 3 and 4 (upper control arms) to wheel carrier- 81.5 ftlb

Diagonal arm to control arm - 118 ftlb
Diagonal arm to carrier side section - 133 ftlb

My guess is you are not replacing the diagonal arm though. Next time you are at your friendly dealer, ask the tech to print out the Tightening Torque Tables for the rear axle and front axle. It is about 17 pages of all the things you need to know.

Tom, fantastic, thanks a lot.

You are correct, I'm not changing the diagonal arm, just the upper control arms and the toe control arm. Since I'm taking out the toe eccentric part with the lockdown, both sides of the toe arm will be tightened to 56lbs

Erik - I still used the 74 ftlb spec for the inner attachment even though I replaced the eccentric with a fixed bolt/spacer. Remember the outer attachment is a ball joint that you are pulling up into the wheel carrier, while the inner attachment is essentially pinching the rear cross member against the toe link. I think the higher torque would still be appropriate.
