Nice, but as CGT stated, definitely a 3 not an RS. It's much more likely that they would put an RS esque wing on a 3 than nerf the RS by making it smaller. Although it seems odd that they would make the two models even closer since they weren't separated by much to begin with. Assuming they aren't going to offer the same car with a graphics kit speculation would be no new RS or an RS that has even more goodies, but of course this is pure speculation and a bit early without ANY hard data.

If you notice in the last few seconds of the video the rear wing lifted when he either reached a speed threshold or applied the breaks. Is that a new feature or does the current GT3/RS have that feature? I thought the 997 GT3 had a fixed wing.

The current cars have a fixed rear wing, but you've got a keen eye. I didn't pick up on it but as soon as I read your post it reminded me that I meant to go back and check that split second because I thought it was just an optical illusion. Now that you've planted the seed of a thought, I have to say, it looks like the wing abruptly kicks up as if to increase down force.
... or they just left the nuts loose on a new slider adjustment ...
ps. The idea of dynamic aero is old news (and explicitly ruled out in most cases) but the idea of getting fans for downforce and dynamic wings seems like a LOT of fun on a street car meant for track days.

hmmmm so now we're speculating that it's got an "active air brake" similar to the VW veyron? it could be possible although solenoids in the tail = more weight!
