911dr,
Everyone here wants Porsche to win. Many of us own GT3's or RS's so we are especially interested in the RSR's at Le Mans. Insulting 3 of RL's most respected members (OldGuy, Mooty, CarreraGT) AND spoiling a race are not the best way to get PAG's attention. Porsche may not dominate like they used to but the Flying Lizard team is competitive. I believe they are currently leading ALMS.

Carrera GT,
I am trying to get Porsche to wake up, if you would take the time to read. If you have nothing positive and uplifting to add stay out of the thread. This is a forum for generating discussion, not adding useless commentary. You obviously have too much time on your hands.

Chris do you know what Porsche could run in GT1? That would be cool to know. BUT since Porsche abides to the rules and corvette and Aston enter tube frame racers it would be hard to win that class.
I find it funny that the Vettes run GT1 there and run against GT3s in the SPeed world challenge and some grand am events. Porsche is always hamstrung by rules. and others like cadillac get away with murder.

Porsche has a well deserved reputation for dominating any series they enter. As a result, series organizers bend over backwards to prevent their series from turning into a parade of Porsches. This often results in rules which favor other marques- i.e., an unfair advantage to keep things competitive.

The FIA was created by the French but is an international federation for automobile racing.
Your post is offending because you insinuate Porsche doesn't win cause of the French. I am sick and tired of ignorant/prejudice comments like yours.

Am assuming the 1991 F1 Footwork car's engine does not qualify nor the 1980's CART entry.
Could excuse the former, but the latter was also a Porsche chassis....

You got to be kidding me!!! Name one series that Porsche dominates other manufacturers since early 90's. The last time PAG won the Le Mans was with the GT1 car. And if you do a research you will find how badly beaten that car was in FIA GT Series by the Mercedes CLK GTRs.
Don't get me wrong; I love Porsche GT cars. It is a shame they have no involvement in racong as factory team for a very long time...
As for which car will they enter the GT1 Class;...
I would make a $1 bet that 998 with the V8 from the RS Spider in 2010.
