Default Is it possible to change gauge face color?

If so, what would be involved? If I hypothetically wanted to change from red to regular face, what would the parts cost be? Anybody might be interested in a swap?

You already found the car Charlie? I would guess you could do a swap + cash since the red ones were an extra cost option

Found a potential car. Gauge faces one of the things I don't like about it. It's overpriced by about $12k (and they just came down $10k).

I wouldn't go changing the gauge faces, it will detract the car's value. Plus, they are a bitch on a 997.

You might get used to them and begin to like them later on. If the rest of the GT3 options are acceptable to you, just take it and deal with it later.

The color's pretty damn hideous. I'll keep the originals, presumably one can buy a set of the original gray faces?

I'll probably take it if the price is right and I enjoy my day with a GT3 on Thursday. Just curious as to how I would go about changing it.

I don't mean painting them. I mean replacing with stock, gray GT3 faces. I should give North Hollywood Speedo a call, see if they do the new stuff.

997 641 105 90

105 90 is the CDN version. 997 641 103 90 is the USA.

That sounds expensive. But it's also the smart way to do it.

Oops sorry ... missed that in PET ...

I have an e-mail into PalSpeedo regarding a color change for the GT3 inst cluster, I will post their response to the list when/if I get it.

Are you looking at the with the red faces/stitching etc?

p.s I'd part-ex my cobalt blue for an orange RS ...

Well I don't have an Orange RS, but I'd buy your car in a heartbeat and you can put the money towards the RS!

Yea, I'm reconsidering the car with stitching, belts, and gauges. I would change several things, ie - gauges to stock gray, belts black, shifter and handbrake straight alcantara (don't like the carbon with the carbon console) and silver wheels.
