Car went off after/on the last turn at the top of the hill leading on to the main straight at SOW running CCW.
No, it was not my car

Given the crappy condition of some of the runoff areas at Streets, I imagine the driver was going just slow enough to hit an edge and take out both tires on one side without actually flipping. I hope someone recommends crack-testing all four wheels. Porsche wheels are strong, but not necessarily that strong.

Looking at that photo reminds of one thing:
I wish I could afford one of those big, luxury RVs so I could drive tracks in summer and be in the paddock without melting.
ps. Since gas/diesel prices spiked the last time, RV prices have tanked (sorry, had to take the easy pun) so if you've ever thought of the 'bago driving family track day holiday vacation thing, it's actually working out pretty well since, for some reason, folks that look at a $10K fuel bill that would have been a $7K fuel bill aren't motivated to buy an RV that's had a $20K price cut. Maybe they figure the six or seven year break-even on fuel costs is the real "expense" of owning a $500K RV that will have a resale value of $250K in six or seven years ... I dunno. Maybe they've wised up and bought the six or seven year old RV. : )
Here's a gas history chart from zfacts.com

pps. At least for me, if I traced my income and spending power over this gas chart since 1990, I'd have to say that gas is basically free for me now compared to circa 1990. That doesn't explain the price though.

get some proper instruction before driving cars like this.
Proper driver should have "routine" and make that a good habit every session you go out. Its very basic.
