I love the 993 TT (driven a few), but the AWD sensation in your hands does dampen the road feel even (if the 993 platform transmits more steering feel) and the TT is not faster - you just need to keep your foot in the Gt3 throttle. Never noticed any drive-by-wire issues personally...
