I bought one from Sharkwerks and it sounds GREAT. I have driven it and heard it in all situations.
You use your stock tips.
I talked to Fabryce of GMG and *Saw* his this weekend and it looks awesome. GMG has megaphone tips and it looks KEWL . They both are the same approximate price.
Taking the Rear bumper off and installing the SHARKWERKS bypass is no issue and the rear bumper is about 30 minutes and the whole job is 2.5 hours.
I went to Fontana this weekend and my favorite part was driving under the NASCAR track in the TUNNEL!!!! I downshifted and let the SHARKWERKS PIPE HOWL! MUSIC! I am SURE the GMG RACING pipe sounds great too.

What about when running with the vacuum plug pulled?
I know the Sharkwerks will not resonate much (if at all) with the plug pulled, but what about the GMG?
That's a nice option to have. TIA

I have GMG with the vacuum unplugged. The sound is fabulous.
When the decision was made to go with GMG, it was because GMG is only about 7 miles away from where I live. I communicated with Alex and Fabryce, and it was Alex that suggested that I support my local shop. Both are true professionals and gentlemen.
You won't go wrong with either of them in my opinion. Both are quality products. The only thing is to make sure the vacuum is unplugged!

Interesting that people describe a difference in sound. They are both bypass pipes, how can they sound different? Is the megaphone tip thing really the difference?

Hi Bluehinder, it can be done physically without removing the bumper and people have done that before although personally I would always choose "more space" and no prying/squeezing of parts since it's so easy to remove etc...
