Who cares? I normally don't like paint and trim specials, but the RS60, marketing exercise or no, is a great drive, period.

Lowering it and painting the stock wheels dark gray might toughen it up a bit, but it kinda is what it is.

Yea but he doesn't get gators in his back yard....

I think the roof looks great against the silver finish. The interior is a touch loud in that color though....

I think that if you have to ask . . . you have your answer.

It's a nice combo. Nice modern take on a classic German sports car color combo. It's a sharp car, just as you (albeit apologetically) pointed out. Do you think the original RS60 is "gay"?.... Didn't think so...

Can you fit GT3 wheels on it? Might look cool. Your current wheels look better on the Boxster than the 911, IMO.

JR
Your are right and we do get gators in the canal around the house on occasion and I love all the hills since I also ride bikes both with and without motors.

I really like the car and alll this makes me like it even more.
Thanks to everyone.

Our local dealer brought one by the local PCA meeting last month. I thought it looked great! A very striking color combo.
Tell the wife to get her *** back to the kitchen!

I just got a Boxster RS60 Spyder with a red top and red interior. My wife told me that it looked like a gay hair dressers car. I am not sure if she was insulting me, hair dressers or gays. maybe all but I am afraid it was just me. I think the car looks great but am now wondering. i obviously need help or maybe just need to fess up?
Thanks in advance?!?

That's f-d up. The cars is friggin' beautiful. And the Boxster is a bad *** car.

I do my best to maintain a christian attitude when people associate something like homosexuality to a car that isn't pink or doesn't have a rainbow flag sticker on the window but it is difficult to not bite their heads off. Gay is what you do with your junk, not what you drive your junk around in... and, to me, it is a serious insult. And seriously, if my wife voiced that opinion to me for any reason I'd be her worst nightmare for the foreseeable future.

The car is stunning... looks, driving experience, and history it is recalling.
