I have gone to Ranger games since I was 12 in 1972 when the then Washington Senators moved to
Arlington we use to sit in the 50 Cent seats in the bleachers. Now we have one of our own in THE stadium
I cant tell you how cool that is.

What a small world. Adam Eaton was my **Next** door neighbor when he was with the Padrees. Loved his pool parties, lots of Macallan 18s and cigars with him. One hell of a nice guy.

Congrats on the win Bro!!!

well I hope to give you guys something to root for, and as you know we could use all the fans we can get in Ranger-Town.

on a side note- I've secured my first racing sponsor...so that's good!

I didn't know we had a baseball sports celeb on the board until reading this. I do know that one of us is a starting wide receiver for an NFL team, but would rather preserve his privacy unless he wants to disclose. Raises the question, though, how many of us are famous or semi-famous in other areas.

it was painful for me to watch that game last night.... i thought for sure we'd go 2-0 again but the rangers brought out this closer in the 9th who ruined it all!!!

anyway, nice work out there CJ... it was fun/impressive watching you play. kind of funny because i'd root for you, then the guys at the bar would slap me up-side the head to knock sense into me! haha, next time beat up on boston or something.

Congrats! We'll still be rooting for the A's, such as they are, but we've got a second favorite team now!

I used to have a few NBA players as customers, couple of retired Raiders, too. All nice guys.

As much as we love sports Heros Lets remember something here. I can tell you CJ has a head on his shoulders and is ACTIVELY planning his post baseball career JUST as he is emerging. We have other people whom, including me, who scratched from NOTHING to make something out of themselves and have become very influential people in there own fields. People Like Colm whom have built the foundation that will be here for a long time. Even if your just a successful parent that something that is just as important or moreso than running, or throwing or catching a ball.
It like the commercial during the NCAA basketball tourney There are 300,000 NCAA athletes and almost
ALL go pro in something else!!!!

Having said that GIVE ME MY SPORTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny you take it in this direction. My soon-to-be partner in a business we're merging had his daughter just get a full-ride in a sport (and likely be an Olympian, either this year or '12) at a MAJOR D1 school. She likely won't make a dime on the sport post-college. But what an opportunity, and memories.
