Default TPMS sensor part number

Does anyone know whether part number 955 361 053 00 for the RS includes the sensor portion for TPMS?

Is the sensor already in the stem?

If the sensor is in the stem, what is the screw in the package for?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You need all 4 compnents (1,2, 3 and 4). I believe 2 (95536105300) is just the valve stem. The sensor is actually #1. A year ago the valve stem was about $11 and the sensor was about $85 - check with www.sunsetimports.com for current pricing - hard to beat their prices and service.

I have not looked into it closely but i was on the Tire rack web and was looking at a replacement set of wheels for the 3 I see that they offer the TPM and the valve stem parts for like 425 for all 4 rims. I agree however that sunset it the place to go for OEM.

Thank you very much for the diagram. It certainly identified what I was missing.

Thank you very much. I bought a second set of wheels and I am trying to figure out how to get tires and the TPMS put on at the same time. My invoice for 95536105300 says air pressure sensor. But there is no sensor there. I will check into it further.

I just ordered all the parts that you need since I too have a second set of wheels that I want to put the TPMS sensors on. I ordered them from Sunset and the total for the stems and sensors and hardware came out to $400.68. I believe this included shipping, but I am not positive. I think I get them today, so when I get home I will check the exact pricing and post it later.

If I don't mount the sensors before this weekend, then I will bring one of them with me on Sunday and show it to you.

usually when PET points to several parts as it does it this picture, the other parts should be inclusive.

Right...but the $15 price should have been a tip-off.

Sunset price is 11.09 for the Tire Valve kit; this includes everything you need except for the TPMS sensor.

Sunset price for TPMS sensor is 88.27, and is the OEM part.

Total is 397.44 plus shipping.

How can I get a PET picture of the 997 GT3/RS back seat carpet that would have the roll cage run thru it on the "upper deck" area right below where tha RS logo is?

Thanks

how do you find the TPMS works at the track? A local guy was having problems with his 997 turbo. The car thought he had a flat since the tire pressure is low when heading out on to the track. He had to go out with higher temps then come in and let air out as the pressures rise.

For those running CCW wheels, did you buy another set of TPMS sensors? If you don't have sensors in your wheels, does the computer go crazy or does it realize they are not there and just give a warning?
