I've never worked with a cup lip, but the tab arrangement is so robust that the two screws in the aerokit lip are somewhat extraneous. While the replacement is easy once you get the hang of how to work the tabs, it would take an act of Congress for it to simply come loose on its own. Bottom line: if you left the two screws off the aerokit lip, it wouldn't make any difference.

Rick is exactly right. You don't need the screws. The cup lip only has about a dozen or so locking tabs that hold everything fine.

jon, I've also got the cupcar undercar brake ducts as well...if you zip-tie them, they're gonna stick up to a lot of abuse from curbing on track. I was just more concerned that the cup car chin spoiler would lead to the scraping being more blunt force trauma...but if it's manageable, that's good news.

I got mine from FVD US (w ducts) TRG in Ca have them w/o ducts. carnewal has them both with and without.

You might want to check with "viper bob" @ vortexmotorsports to see if he can get the one with ducts ... which are harder to get in the US apparently
