For those who drive to the track do you ever try to remove the semi-vulcanized rubber pick-up off your tires after a track outing??

Michelin Cups are the worst for this I find.
You go offline on a cool down lap and hey presto - thud thud bounce.
It does tend to fall off eventually.
Pisses me off when I've just spent $2000 on a new set of Cups and they look like that after a day on track!

scrubbing during cool down lap, when tires are still hot, will get most of it off.
once tires cool down, it's hard to pry off with your fingers. just drive for 200 miles or so, it will all be gone.
