2008 CARRERA CUP IN AUSTRALIA
Hi all!
The new season has started in Australia and the first race was on the same circuit as the Formula One Grand Prix used to be (Adelaide-now Melbourne).
The new GT3 Cup cars were setting times of around 1:23. This 12 lap race was followed by whats called 'V8 Supercars'-5.7 litre Fords and Holdens(GMH)
and guess what? they were setting the SAME times with two extra cylinders! These cars are simply marvels of design and engineering and whats more the car weights of the two classes were not that different.
Just thought I'd share this amazing fact.
