In fairness, we had a session before that, and he was all over my *** then, i was faster under braking, and cornering, but he was glued on exit, just couldn't shake him...they were evenly matched, but in different ways.

Nice driving and nice video. What do you film with? Is the install of the GT2 sway bar sytraight forward? Was the rear set on full stiff? Was it really unstable?

Thanks,

Stephan

Camera is just a little Sanyo Xacti

About the size of a packet of cigarettes.

The sway bar is a straight swap, plus some bushes i think.

It's set in middle setting now, which is 20% stiffer than the original one was when on full stiff.

Car is still very stable, but you now have a fine balance between over/understeer, rather than just having to drive around the chronic understeer before.

It's great now.

But mate, if you want any advice at all from me, DO NOT fit a 265 front tyre.

the thing with this new set up, it makes the rear end a lot more active, and this in turn gets the rear tyres quite hot (especially these N0 ones that don't handle the heat aswell as the old style ones)..so the car can be a little edgy when the front are just getting to temp, the rears are starting to get very hot, if you put that 265 up front, you will have monsterous turn in, and just make this issue worse, and i think you will totally overwhelm the rear end.

I really advise to start with a 235 1st, as the car is so different.

These 2 different style of Cups have very different heat capacity from what i have found.

We are running zero front toe now too.

I did Watkins Glen and Mont Tremblant last year with the different tire combo (real mpsc front and OE mpsc's in the rear) and still felt that the car could use way more front tire - braking is the biggest factor for sure (rear pads are working too hard and the front rotors need a better workout) and slower speed turn-in is second. I'm not too worried about the gt2 bar on the rear (set to the middle hole - thank you for that info) as the front bar can still go 2 holes stiffer - enough I think to even out the front and rear if / when I can get the real 265 mpscs to fit

I'm also at zero toe to actually the very slightest toe out

thanks again

paul

So sick man, I love the feeling of carrying out more speed than the guy in front of you, easing into it, easing into it then all on it and reeling him in mmm

Thanks for sharing!

Any comments on the Cup splitter? I have one sitting next to me as the replacement for my current snow shovel.

Does it produce more downforce, or anything that you can notice?

Very good driving Glenn! With the GT2 rear sway bar, did you adjust the front sway bar as well?

Great driving, and great video! Thanks for sharing! You were much more the gentleman than I would have been in that situation with the Lambo. You might have been evenly matched with him in previous sessions, but in that session you were clearly faster. I tend to get "hard on the headlights" when people do not let me by...

I gave up golf for this track addiction... Proper etiquette is important!

No outside action i'm afraid

Sway bar is around £250

Here's another vid of me following another mate around there, he has the sway ber done too, he is usually right on the pace, but this day was not at his best.

siverstone seems like an awesome track to actually get to drive on, the best i can do is keep playing it on F1 with PS3. which really helped me identify every turn after watching your videos.

very nice driving as well!!
