Default My GT2 Order: March Build

This is my GT2 order. I will have the lower panels, front spoiler lip and rear valance paint matched when it comes in.

I currently have an Orange GT3RS. If you could only have one, which one would you keep?

Holy Options Batman!

I would prefer the GT3 because of the linear power delivery. I got a taste of the new 997 turbo; and although it is a nice car and very fast, it really seemed to suffer from more turbo lag than I thought. I did not even have it on the sport mode, which I thought was almost undriveable because of the overly sensitive throttle. But I tried once to put it to the throttle to the floor and when it hit max boost, the front end was extremely light; I think I was doing a wheelie!

I like linearity of power. I do not like options. I bet your RS has a lot less options. I would keep it. I have never been a fan of the GT2.

And for that price, I would put that extra money into another very exciting car; like a Lotuse Exige S. I just love those cars.

My 2 cents.

+1. Though I must admit, having this GT2 in my garage would help me get up early on weekends!

Nice options list! I can't wait to see one of these cars in the flesh (on the track of course)

Enjoy the whole process. I didn't see Euro delivery listed. That is a must for such a fine car!

dang that's the highest option total I've ever seen on a GT car- and you didn't even have to pay the 8840 for the ceramic brakes...but hey at least it will be luxurious with all that leather.

oh and might I beg you to reconsider getting that front lower lip painted. come on you already have a gt3 you should know that it will scrape EVERYWHERE

Your GT2 sound like a high spec Turbo.

To me, I think all GT3/RS/2 should keep it as simple and as light as possible.

Until Porsche stops "turboing" the Turbo, or limits the amount of hp that can be extracted by someone out of the Turbo to a level WELL BELOW the level a Gt2 makes the GT2 will always be a dud.

The RS or GT3 will always be something special in comparison to the 997 but the GT2 was never and won't be something special in comparison to the 997 Turbo.
