Very nice. If you don't mind, it would be great if you posted a picture of lower portion.

That looks great, especially with all the yellow on the deviated stitching, belts, harnesses, seats, and bar.

Cobra seats are far more comfortable than euro GT3 seats, but I think the reason more people don't put them in Porsches is the relative complication of sliders-and-mounts voodoo. On that note, what did you use for sliders and mounts?

Hey, that's my car. I think it looks damn good. Can't wait to see it tomorrow Neil. Pinder called me from Hennessy today and said it looks great.

I like it a lot. The seats I like about as much as the 996 GT3 seats, but not as much as the 997 GT3 seats. The bar I like better than the GT3 bars.

Let me ask you some questions. How much do those seats weigh? Is Cobra a good quality seat? I would guess yes since you own a GT3. Are those the fat boy versions? I am 6' 2", 235 lbs and have fairly broad shoulders; my *** is fine (not like smokin' fine, but as in not too big). Finally, in a Hispanic accent: "How moch mooooney?"

Thanks

I believe the Cobra website said that the seats weigh 20 lbs. They are the standard size as I am 5' 9" and weigh 165. Don't know all of the pricing yet. Neil is keeping me in suspense.

I really like them, but could do without all the advertising. I would like them plain and then have a Porsche logo added to give it that factory look.

Cobra makes a nice product.. I use their Evolution seat in My track M3 and love it. I have been considering the Cobras for the GT3 as well. An upholstery guy told me no problem to make the seats look any way I wish even leather with red stitching.

Nice job. I like the logo with the yellow as well. I personally do not think everything needs to say Porsche on it.

This is the first time that I have used racing seats. Damn these things are snug. I'm only 5' 9" and weigh 165 lbs. I can't imaging being much bigger and still fitting in them. They will take a little getting used to. I feel like I am a part of the car going around corners, though. Should be an improvement on the track.

Do most of you guys bolt them directly to the floor in a fixed position or put them on rails? Mine are on rails and they seem a little high in the car.
