Default WORLD EXCLUSIVE: FIRST AND ONLY 2008 GT3 6-speed with Tiptronic

Took delivery of my MY2008 GT3 with a Tiptronic steering wheel.

The salesman and I got a chuckle out of it and chalked it up to Oktoberfest.

The replacement wheel is on order. I pray everything else with the car is okay. I won't be laughing in another 2 months if the proper steering wheel doesn't come in, especially with the yellow stitching!

Absolutely hilarious! I always try to avoid September, October build cars. Have no idea if that really is an issue but have heard of just too many screw ups with those car builds.

Keep it installed! It's great for the amusement value (limited, admittedly, to fellow GT3-philes) and it's (hopefully) unique...

Maybe it's a DSG/PDK(whatever they'll call it) prototype!

I'd keep it and find a good use for those buttons (like Sport mode or PASM)

i know of a guy who took delivery of his gt silver 997 turbo and the trim piece for the air intake on the flank was arctic silver on one side, body color on the other side. What's going on? This should not happen with cars in this price range. A Ford Focus maybe, but not a Porsche.

I think that's funny. I'd get a nice chuckle out of it. Glad you have the right attitude!

Keep it. Its a 1 of 1.. You could probably sell it for $250K in a few years time. No others like it.
