IMO it is the rarity that makes the big difference. This is the first US RS since 73 as I understand it. The color combos and the wing attracks a good deal of attention. At MSRP, which is what I paid, was a no brainer. I do love both cars though! In fact, my $ was on a GT3 before the RS became available. At 300 or so cars in the US, the RS is a great value. I would probably pay a little over MSRP on a base model to get one if I had to. I like it that much.
