Default 2007 GT3 pricing

Greetings all,
Is 136k a decent price for a used GT3 with PCCB's with less than 500 miles on the clock?

I would appreciate any feedback as I will be checking out the car tomorrow.

Best regards.
Anthony

Seems high. Probably $20k over msrp, which would be ok for an RS but (I think) high for a GT3.

Does the car have PCCB's as the only option? If so, then you found a great GT3, speced the way it should be. The only better combo is with the standard brakes IMHO, but you do get a nice weight savings with those PCCB's.

If that is the only option, then it is way too high IMO. Find out the exact MSRP, and I personally would not pay more than MSRP for it. If you really want it, then maybe $5K over is OK, but certainly not more than that. Just wait, you will get a nice one with maybe 3 to 6K miles for under MSRP within the next 6 months. That kind of mileage is nothing on these cars; Porsche builds some tough, high performance, daily drivers.

Good Luck!

Thanks guys.
The options are PCCB, NAV and deviated stitch. Anything over 5k msrp and I'll probably just wait for a better deal.

fyi,

base model $107,500
PCCB = $8,840
NAV = ~ $3,100
Deviated Stitching (if all 7 are selected) = ~ $2,400

I am a big Porsche fan, and I love the GT3, but before I would pay any premium on a GT3 I would learn all you can about the MB CLK 6.3 AMG Black Series. This car is a worthy contender for your $$$ and provides immense driving satisfaction and challenges, especially so when you have to pay a premium for the GT3. (I am no MB fan by the way).

In the interest of full disclosure, I bought one (MB) even though I was determined not to like the car.

At a minimum it is worth a real hard look!

The Merc BS is nice and on paper they look comparable, but I want to be be fast everywhere on the track, not just blasting on the straights. The overall balance of the GT3 to me is better value than the BS.

I made the right choice, negotiated less than MSRP on a heavily optioned car.

Here she is..
