i for sure will not pay $500 for one day at TH, even if i was the only car on track.
but i'll go watch and cheer the wealthy drivers for sure.

My daughter has a tennis tourny 2/2-3 : (. Also my car is on lift with motor/tranny out for some needed track maintenance(lsd gone) plus other disposables-hopefully end of feb it be all track ready. Maybe if I can get 50 guys to push my motorless GT3 around LS but my tracktimes maybe kinda slow. Mike

I had assumed it was a two day event. I can't justify the driving time to Thunderhill for a single day, just too many hours on the road for a single track day. Pity, it would be great to get some GT3-only events happening, I'm sure there's enough people with these cars now. Maybe HOD could be convinced to make it a two-day event.

Only thing which maybe a good thing safetywise but IMO can be a little more room for latidude is point bys. Even in the race prep group- point by's are mandatory and if successive cars in front of u u have to wait til each one recognize u and point by to pass. Next level down(advance) is more the same but passing only on select straigtaways. I understand safety is up most for them but point bys can be more dangerous esp in advanced levels. Mike

Count me in, even at $495.00 I feel it is worth the $ since the run groups are limited to 15 cars each. Also HOD does first class driving events. I spend more than $495.00 for the tires and brakes I use in 1 day at TH.

adam, if you get up to TH and just drive in every run group, you can do about 350 miles. i think my record was 305 miles in one day at TH, until ramon broke it with 350+ miles. that would be worth your drive up

ps. I couldn't afford the tires or brakes (or physiotherapy afterwards) to cover 300 miles at the track in a DE. I guess if you had a 30 gallon tank, drove at 8/10ths for fuel economy, peed into a hose running out the bottom of the car ... and that's just on Hwy 505 getting to the track.
