Default Track tires revisited

Any 18" new combo for the track only? Have been running R6s and love them. Between my wife and I the tires do not last that long. Has anyone fitted MPSC265 in the front? R1 BFGoodrich 265, 335?

Loved 315 MPSC in the rear but could not get the car to turn with a 235 in the front. Any alignment that would make the car turn with this set up?

Thanks,

Stephan.

I take it as no one as anything new!

Stephan, I picked up a set of 996 GT3 wheels (18s) which are 8s or 8.5s and 11s. What size Hoosiers do you like on these? I'm told the 11s will take a 315 but do you recommend smaller? Fronts 235 or 245?

I used to run 996 C14 (CCW) on my 997 GT3. MPSC 18x 235, 295. Was agreat combo. Was way better than the street MPSC 19x 305 that comes with the car. Slightly change gear ratio to something that I thought was better than the stock ratio.

I hope this helps,

Stephan

So why change, and to what?
