John, I hope to be there, but struggling with PCA GGR on their no-refund policy. Its dicey at best getting over Donner Summit in the winter with a car on a trailer, and I would hate to shell out serious $$$ and not be able to make it over the hill from Reno (or back) because of a winter storm. Maybe they would let me apply the entry fee to a later event. . .

I guess I should clarify that GGR does allow drivers to run their first one or two time-trials without a fire suit and the rest of the tech process is not especially onerous (and certainly not inappropriate for PCA track events.)
I'm not sure of the HPDE rules off hand, but I know they're very much similar to any such DE.
I'd normally recommend visiting www.pca-ggr.org but it seems to be "parked" -- perhaps someone forgot to pay the domain name registration renewal? ... ooops ... maybe they're just moving to a new host at 1and1.
