Default Rick DeMan

the weather looks good for tomorrow so I think I am going to take a drive up the Pallisades and visit DeMan Motorsports. Proximity to where I live couldn't be much easier seeing that I am on the westside of manhattan. They also are open on saturdays which is a huge plus. i wasn't able, or i should say that i didn't include him in the poll because i had not previously been familiar with his shop.

I'm curious if Princeton Porsche or any other local dealerships are strongly affiliated with any of hte local PCA events--specifically DE events? If I buy a Porsche from a dealer I want to establish a relationship with a track friendly group. Sorry if this is slightly off topic. The other info is very useful as well..

Nice! My shop is doing the same thing with a former Crawford DP car. I can't wait to see if finished. Good looking shop you have. Never seen so many orange cars together lol

Wow Rick, but where's the winery? I really like organization of your facility, I bet you have happy employees.

Since we're sharing pics, here's a California shop I know well...
TRG Video Tour

There's such an abundance of great shops in the New York area. I was very fortunate while at TRG to get acquainted with the owners of them.

Rick Deman "Rick The Man" Motorsports
Dan Jacobs The Dan Jacob's Garage
John Bedell T&S Motorworks
Bill Rudtner Rudtner's
All the guys at Fairfield County Motorsports
All the others I'll probably think of in the next few days...

I'd feel very comfortable trusting my vehicle to any of them.

Joe & Rick changing out a transmission at Sebring last year.

Im a bit late to the thread but +1 to Rick. Rick, Spenser, Joe & Abe are great people with a great deal of knownledge. I've used them for everything from building an engine to coaching (still working on the coaching). The shop has everything minus the wine cellar, but the place is big enough that Rick could put a bar & lodgings in the place if you decided that you wanted to sleep with your car. They also dont mind you coming over to hang out and BS about car, they understand that this is the customer hobby and spend a lot of money, some other shops dont like you stepping into the garage area at all.

The folks at Princeton Porsche are heavily involved with DE events. If you look behind their garage, half the cars in back are track cars. The staff track their cars as well... You'll see them at the Schattenbaum events in particular. They took great care of my car season. They modified my 4S/997 suspension with GT3 arms so that I could get more camber for example. A lot of dealers just do a flashlight visual tech inspection. Not the guys at Princeton.. I can't say enough about them
