Huh, a regular C6 is light years inferior to a ZO6, why even posting a comparison ? LOL. Not that involving to drive ? Double LOL .
Fact : a ZO6 laps as fast as a GT3/RS but it needs a more skilled hand and more "assmeter".
Both the C and the P car face similar challenges, poor driving without even coming close to the potential but giving "expert " opinions.

yes, i understand it is not a truck suspension, but having driven JRZ equipped Z06, the stock Z06 really really need some serious help.

One of my friends just bought a Z06 and had it modified by Katech in Michigan, the same company that prepares the C6R cars for Lemans. He put in about $75K into the car including engine, suspension, brakes, CF hood, Forgelines, aero, etc. The car is by far the fastest I've been in. He plans to track it this spring.
post pix, pls.

If you could pick one up on the cheap, it would be a great car to stiffen, lower a tad, put some brakes on, jerk out that crappy interior and remove all of the weight you could. Add some decent rubber and I could see myself doing time trials and NASA event in it then. Only problem is that you can't race P club unless you have a P car.

OT: so any competent upholstery shop can re-upholster any seat right? i really love my recaro hans pro racer XL, fits me like a glove. but the fabric (where it stretches over from front to rear of the shell) is breaking up. the cloth seems very thin. i am very careful with the seat and they are only a few months old. in fact one of them is only 8 days old and 200 miles.

Some seats in the PDF brochure on their web site look exactly like recaro's so they must be sourced from the same components as recaros. Do you know if it is because it impossible or PITA to reupholster for example already made recaro? The reason I am asking is because I really like the Recaro Profi SPA and SPG but would like to get them reuphostered in alcantara, remove recaro emblems and add some stitch work.
