I go the other way on that white thing. Personally, I think the 997 is finally the perfect car to pay homage to the first RS. It would be cool if you could get it with red graphics and wheels. Or blue. But it's all personal taste at this point...

You CAN get it with red graphics and wheels. What about silver with either red or black graphics and wheels? Andreas HAS to say the hottest colors are green and orange, he chose them, didn't he?

I thought I would jump in here regarding color. My wife can't wait for me to sell the car because of the constant ringing of the doorbell. Every 15 minutes, it is either a hot chick or a guy with another color RS looking for tips to go faster : ) Anyone thinking of buying a Black and Orange RS really should consider how much time it takes to fend off the adoring fans. Not to mention that it might cause some stress when you are parked next your good friend and someone says (actual quote) "That is the best color combo they offer, it looks amazing...oh, yeah, yours looks good too."
I think that the guys that own silver are really considerate. The orange and green are so distracting in my rear view mirror.
No offense...they all rock.

I like all the RS colors, but I really don't mind the silver. Not that I have a dog in this hunt, but I wouldn't pick on the silver guys. All of these cars are hot (until folks start driving GT2s around, then I'll feel sorry for you guys... )

One white and one all black. Personally I like the all black over black and orange. If you do white you need black or other contrasting wheels at a minimum. Two very cool cars, but every RS is very cool.

I understand this completely. As a guy who is in a professional services job plus trying to start a business, it is 100 hrs a week... and then you have family commitments, friends, etc.
Also, if you ever want to "simplify" your f40... I am in the market!
