It seems that reporting it as a flywheel number requires you to use a correction factor (hp loss from drivetrain). This alone seems to be a bad start. I too would like to see whp numbers; please.

Do we have any good stock rwhp readings from anyone on the board? If not, 500 more miles or so and I'll get one.

- yes there are quite a few
- i have posted a few charts (search under my previous posts), AWE has posted theirs, and a few others have as well
- it would seem that depending on the dyno type, stock cars running premium gas either put down 350-360 on one set of dynos or 370-380 one others (mustang, dynojet)
- obviously other additional factors come into play here like temperature, etc.

link to my dyno charts / previous post (car was dynoed with 12,000 miles)

So, 997gt3north, where do you stand now? What mods have you ended up leaving on the car and are you convinced that they were worth the changes?

- lwfw (i like it - would do it again for sure - i track my car - otherwise save your money)
- i have the sharkwerks rear exhaust delete (saves some weight, like the sound, no change to hp/tq)
- still testing the FVD software flash (it appears good for around 5-8whp up top running 93 octane - car has further adapted from my previous post and on my most recent dynos the car is now doing a consistent 390whp up around 2whp
- cup 8/32nd r&p is going in next week along with a tweaked LSD (going with the cup specs)
- as previously posted, for trackday purposes i have the Safety Designs half cage, 996gt3 seats, fire exting, 5pt belts, 19" volk light weight rims (going to try the 235 front, 325 rear 19" Hoosiers next)
- i also may change to the stiffer rear 997 gt2 rear sway bar if i go with the 325 rear hoosiers
