that is an option, as is just about everything else you can possibly think of! i was lucky enough NOT to have spec'd the car. there are just way too many choices and i would have driven myself bonkers with all the choices!

question for anyone out there......the red airbag warning light on the dash is on. what would cause that? should i just bring it in and have them run a diagnostic on it?

Hey doug,
The steering wheel is stock, right? And make sure there are no objects in the passenger seat, it could cause the airbag light to go off if it falls within a certain weight.
Not sure what else to try before heading to the local dealer.
Good luck.

all the options were done on the original build from the factory from what i gather, but the decals were done by the dealership where i bought it down in plano, texas. i bought it sight unseen with about 700 miles on it and had it shipped up to New York last week.

I believe that you can get the decals from the factory - looks cool, like a combination of a 997 and a 996 RS!

the car may have had after-market seats in it before you purchased it and in disconnecting the passenger seat harness for the airbag sensors; this will have triggered this light to stay on....your dealer can turn it off in 1 minute...make sure that the air bags are re-activated if they had been disabled for the other seats. also check for type I and II over-rev history.
