I seem to recall the weight saving is around 1.5kg (3.3 pounds) per corner.

I recently finished two sets of 993 TT front [rotor] hats in aluminum. The weight delta is just shy of 2lbs per corner. Certainly substantial as this is both unsprung and driven weight!

Hi Chris,

Is this a complete assembly or do you take existing rotors and retro in the hats?
If it's the former, it's a great idea. Can you PM me with pricing?

Thanks,
David

to cure the noise, track it more.
How do the yellow 29's compare to original in regards to heat dissipation and rotor ware?

by original do you mean RS19?
if so, the rotor wear is essentially identical.
the pedal feel is the same as well, except 29 has slightly more initial bite.

I have been using the Protosports and they are really GREAT! but I'm looking to find some weight savings so I'm going to something lighter.

...and getting ready to put these on, just have not had the time with other projects like the roll cage. You can get them from CDOC.

Get the GT3 cup rotors. They are actually less expensive and lighter. They are thinner so they won't wear as long, but that doesn't matter because they will eventually crack as drilled rotors will
