Feel cheated on the GT3 RS Tires
I just noticed (I know this sounds hard to believe that I just noticed) that my GT3 RS came with P Corso's instead of MPSC's. I hate that!! Did anyone else have it come with Corso's? BTW, I can't find the suggested track pressures on the web. Anyone have them or the url? Thanks

FWIW, my GT3 came with Corsa's. Lasted about 3 weeks before I picked something up that left a 1/2" hole in one of my rears. Was going to take 30+ days to get two Corsa's so I went with MPSC's from Tirerack.
I was actually very impressed with the Corsa's. Great dry grip, great wet grip (for the tire), and the ride was quite comfortable. I wouldn't be so upset unless you bought a set of MPSC's and figured the GT3 came with it. ;-)
As for track pressures, I was running 32 or 34F and 38R. (Hot temps)

Mine also came with Corsa's and I love them. I tried the 19 inch cups.. slightly better in the dry and not as good in the wet. I am sticking with Corsa for the street and Hoosiers for the track.

Don't feel cheated, most reviewers that have actually driven on both seem to prefer the Pirelli's. Seems that for street driving they warm up faster, are better in the wet and are almost the same on the track.
There are a number of threads re. this topic so search around and you'll find tire pressure info. for the track and discussions about these 2 different tires. Unfortunately most of the comments re. Pirelli vs. Michelin are based on brand preference and not actually from driving on both.
From the comments of those that have driven on both it seems that the Pirelli is better on the street and the Michelin is marginally better on the track.
Mine came with Pirelli's and I'll be replacing them with Pirelli's.

Only item I can find on track pressures says this: "Having quite a stiff construction, the P Zero Corsa does not necessarily need extra tire pressure to deliver its performance. In fact it is designed to run at tire pressures around 30 psi, with finite adjustments depending on vehicle type."
Does this mean that I want the hot pressure at 30 psi (that seems low)? Also, do I want the front to have the same pressure as the rear? That doesn't seem right.
Thanks

I'm just swapping from MPSCs to Pirelli Corsas.
Both great tyres in N0 bespoke spec for the GT3, but my research suggested the Pirellis were marginally better for road use and had a longer life expectancy.

here is a link to the Corsa brochure...

My RS came with Corsa's too. I would echo the comments above - they are the best street tyre and excellent in the wet.

dont feel cheated. corsa or cups, both are rather pathetic for this car.
got some 18" and your choice of rubber widens dramatically.
the 19" cups are 1600 or so a set. wont last long and the few thousand miles you get from them are nothing more than torture in my opion. and when they get old, the road noise i horrendous.

What kind of street mileage are you guys getting from the Pirelli corsas? My MPSCs are going to need to be replaced at approx 4,000 miles. Ouch! And yes they are wearing evenly and I dont have alignment issues.

Corsas all round could be a better option on the road, and may give much better life, as they start with more tread.

What is this supposed to mean (ie, the "finite" part...)?
