Weight loss. Winter is a good time to loose weight. What are you doing or have have you done? What weight saving?

Spin cycling at L.A. Fitness.... I am fat and it is cheaper than a C.F. hood.

Lots of running and cycling - oh, and 996GT3 seats and Sharkwerks exhaust, good for about 100 pounds saved on the seats and exhaust.

i walk 8 miles every other day.
they days i am not walking, i ride 25 miles up and down the hills.
600 cruches every night and about 90 pushups.

oh.. the car....
race seats, lwt wheels that's about it.
i haven't had the heart to gut it yet.
but if you have a cage, you can use cup car doors and other CF panels, and plexiglasses. also, rip out the carpet helps a lot.

damn, i posted this before i read other posts...
i actually do do all those things.... LOL.
peleton, based on that name, what do you ride?

That's a pretty good thread for the 996 cars. Most of it applies.

Also, here's a list of what cargraphic did. Almost everything there seems doable without losing the car's capability on the street and they dropped like 240 pounds. Have fun.

mooty it seems like we've got a similar routine- I workout all day and then drive my car.

how much do the plexiglass rear window and 3/4 windows cost?

I m stuck with my body weight, can't really go up, can't come down either

As for the car
1. OEM LW CF bucket seat optioned, no sunroof
2. VOLK Racing rims, shaved 10.7kg of unsprung weight in total. Did this coz didnt option the PCCB as far unsprung rotational mass is concerned

Once youre over 30 you should give up ball sports unless your a pro like CJ and take up cycling. I would be in better shape now if I would have given up football/baseball/basketball/soccer and tennis then. BUT NO
I kept playing till 46 and now I have a bad back..
Cycling is the best thing you can do but you have to be ready to ride for a couple hours each day on weekends.

Between this and the new suspension your thinking about, sounds like you want J. Carey's setup. Don't do too much, or I'll never be able to keep up with you!

If some one is committed to lose the weight then he can easily lose the weight not in a winter but also in a summer season. So must committed to lose the weight and also have motivation to lose the fat.

A lot of GH, diet and gym. I'm in a meal program now, so that helps being healthy, but beer and Sake are killing me
I'm so burned from working out, that I can't even look at the weights anymore, can't go back fighting anymore, doesn't look good be all sore and bruised in front of customers, also can't take the abuse, getting old for that.
I need to go back as I'm off for 2 months now. I want to go back cycling and swimming. 225lbs is getting old....
