is the stop and go driveability with the LWF really diminished at all or is it still pretty smooth cruising around in traffic? obviously I'd ideally like to never sit in traffic but it happens so I need to plan for it either way.

In terms of driveability, I cannot tell the difference. Just some gearbox noice that was not there w/ the dual mass setup. Even the idle remains unchanged or at least not that I can percieve.

I disagree (respectfully, of course). In 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd a bit, the LWF is definitely feelable by the seat of your pants. Besides how much it improves throttle blips, it's the 2nd gear seat of the pants feel that makes it such a worthwhile mod, IMHO.

Zero problems with driveability. Only difference is a clatter at idle in neutral with clutch out, and a little extra tranny noise driving at low (<2500) rpm. It should be standard on all GT3s!!!!!

The latest 3.6 engines are putting out circa 425bhp once run in and a few tweaks will get this up around 435bhp. Pretty amazing for a normally aspirated engine that drives so well on the road. We thought the Mk1 GT3 with 360bhp was good but over 400bhp...wow.

Old enough to remember when 100bhp per litre was a racing engine!

And DFI will give another 10% output. And not just high-rpm horsepower, but across-the-range torque increase. It will be like the engine has magically grown to 3.9+ liters. It will feel noticeably beefier at all rpm, and probably use less fuel. Looking forward to it. But when - 2009, 2010...??
