Yeah, that's what I paid a couple of weeks ago. And why do the rears cost more than the fronts? They didn't know.

errr ... because they wear faster and therefore Porsche can make more money on them?

In the past we've run the yellows from Pagid in place of factory PCCB pads. There are no provisions for the wear sensors though. Also, pad stack is usually too thick to use the brake pad silencer pucks.
Front: Run Pagid 8004 RS19 or RS29 $399
Rear: Run pagid 8006 RS19 or RS29 $319
If it's of interest I'll contact Pagid and inquire for application and equivalent pads to factory.

Could be with the US dollar going down in value compared to the Euro. You need to pay more dollars for one Euro than before.
That would be a part of the official explanation that Porsche might give you. The other untold part is that whenever there is a specific need to raise prices, every business in the world has a tendency to mark up some more just for fun.

well it's difficult to say with my car, since I did euro delivery with 2800 miles in 10 days including 50 laps of the nordschleife, now at 3800 miles (drove it from LA to SF) and another track day at Sears I think I am about ready to replace the rears ... fronts dont seem too bad ...

Check with Jeff at Sunset Porsche -Parts dept. at 1-800-346-0182.
I've ordered parts from them in the past, I think they sell pccb pads for a couple $hundred under the quote in GT3North's original post- (assuming supply is available).
