New GT2-pass

I am 100% free market and think the dealerships should sell their product at whatever price the market will support. I was just wondering whether the limited production could have justified a higher MSRP. That would have reduced the 'market adjustment' and would also cut down on the "I'd never pay more than MSRP" and "find a new dealer" posts.
Which tells me that the MSRP was too high for the volume.
Which tells me that the MSRP was too high for the volume.
Again with the CGT: if Porsche had capped production at 400 as opposed to 1200ish, I think CGTs would still be trading in the mid-$400 range or even higher. Look at Enzo (400ish built) prices versus F40 (1200ish built) prices.
That said, comparing the 7GT2 with the 6GT2 is an interesting exercise, considering the 6's low production number and high MSRP. I'd say the 6GTx market was very different than the current 7GTx market. I don't remember 6GT3s trading for over MSRP for very long - if at all - while 7GT3s are still white-hot.

If the prices for the 7 are stratospheric, there may be a stabilization of demand or a very slight rise. This happened with the 360 challenge Stradale as well, with the 430/430CS coming out. Not a good comparison I know, but since many will not be able to get/afford the 7, the 6 is starting to look like a better and better bargain every day. They are going for what, low 100s now?
