Best option for under $2K: Sharkwerks center muffler delete and unplug sport vacuum switch. Great sound, no drone, not too loud, but certainly not a wuss!

I for one find it inexcusable for Porsche to put out >$100k cars with suboptimal exhaust notes. The TT sounds like a vacuum cleaner, and the GT3 sounds like someone is plugging and unplugging your ears with the stupid valves.

i had it unplugged for a couple of days, 5 seconds to do it, the drone at 3000 rpms was quite annoying, so i plugged it back, at high rpms theres no difference at all.

That's what's funny, with the stock piece it drones and then as Jack discovered when you use it with our center piece it doesn't. Sweet but yet unintentiional side effect

Sure did, and while my RS wing is being installed, I decided to have them do the screens. It took them no time at all and I got to see them on the car today; the Cargraphic in black really seem like the right way to go, look totally stock.

I have disconnected the vaccume switch and so far I LOVE the sound! Yes it drones a bit from idle to about 3k rpm but not only am I okay with it so far, I am enjoying it quite a bit.

folks can you help me out here.. I tried pulling the plug for a half hour yesterday...
I pushed the metal clamp in, but nothing would budge.. I mean nothing, in any direction....
Do you just squeeze in the locking wire clip in and pull the ligher color plug?
Mine would not move at all... is there a special move? twist?

I used P97's photo and circled the solenoid that you are looking for. The black plug with the orange and red wire plugs into the bottom of the little gray box. The metal spring clips on the plug squeezes in and the plug will easily pull off.

NOTE: The black plug is not shown in the photo, just the gray box that it plugs in to. The photo was apparently taken after the plug was removed.
