David,

I agree with you. I have tried almost all the tires available for the 997 GT3. The 315/235 cups feel great are are the one delivering the worst understeer. The car does not turn at all! Would be amazing if there was a 245 or 255 for the front. Who lnows, may be next year?

Has anyone tried using an old style cup tyre (N3) on the front to help with understeer ??

Should hopefully be trying this on track next week....

Just curious about any updates to which hole settings those are running that have installed the GT2 rear sway bar. I just installed it last night on my 07 RS. It's on the stiffest setting. I'm intending to track the car but I'm far from a super advanced track driver. What I'm noticing is just an extreme difference in stiffness from what the rear feels like to what the front sway feels like (which is the original sway bar still set on factory delivery settings). I'd like to get the setup so that the rear just feels a tad tighter than the front for now. What settings are those running that have setup the GT2 rear sway bar? Thanks!

I started on middle then moved to soft for gt2 bar - front is on as delivered 2nd from softest - My alignment is (-2.7f, -2.3r) - regular gt3 - works with OE tires, R888s, R6s

If you are always running R6s, A6s, or better (slicks), I'm sure fully stiff setting is fine but you will likely need to firm up front sway to full stiff or 1 from stiff. Also, if you ever run in damp conditions, my guess is you will want a much softer car.

With the GT2 rear sway bar the middle hole works well to kill off understeer. Fine tune with the front bar starting with two holes up from full soft.

If you go full stiff in back you will have oversteer based on my experiments on an 07 RS using Hoosier R 6.

Bob or others, does anyone have a resource/document about how from a
technical perspective front and rear swaybar tuning affects handling?
