I believe 997.2 RS and Turbo share the same body. Side vents on Turbo make it look wider.
I’m talking about the side vents missing on the RS. Interesting why did they start using them on the 991+ cars.
I’d imagine you can stuff more air. I can understand the smooth hips some folks like. The vents make the shape more aggressive for sure
On the list at a few places for a 992 RS 🤞🏻. Will have to wait till 2029 (25 year import rule) to get a 996 RS unless I manage to find one of the few US legal examples here under the show and display law, but one of those would probably cost a fortune to get.
Very nice! I’m assuming you will be ordering the car in white😉 You are a fortunate individual
Finally had my 997 and 991 GT3 RS’s together. Here are some photos I took after the first few days of Monterey Car Week. I bet I know which one of the two cars you guys prefer.
What a pair; stunning! Thank you for sharing. I’m heading up Friday. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I love the plates you went with on both cars. Both made me smile.

Yeah. Odd. Who knows what PAG was thinking. You would think they would leave them as it would be cheaper and just use them to duct air. Maybe based on air box placement it was cheaper to put the vents on top where they are.
Im sure PAG took the most cost efficient route for themselves at the time. That’s a good bet.
991 cars dropped use of the Mezger. Again, air box location?
Also, in a way I think its fortunate in hind sight they didn’t use side vents as it maintains the 997RSs appearance in the more classic era NA 911 genre. At that time and era the side vents were a marker and signature characteristic for “Turbo”.
The 997RS is considered the last of the small bodied RSs.
Ranger, I always loved the .1 looks over the .2. You've managed to give a .2 the .1 looks. That's gotta be my dream car. Also in white, my favorite color. Amazing!
Also, call me stupid. What is the plate saying?
