991 definitely looks more aggressive. Love the 991.
However, the 997 has the more “classic” Porsche “presence”.
As I age I am gravitating to the more mature classic drives that provide the more classic age gone bye involvement and connection. Thats the 997RS hands down.

Kinda wish Porsche used the turbo body on the 997 RS’s. The side intake scoops would look right at home with the huge wing. I think 997,991,even 992 look great. OP needs to get the 992 RS when they drop to have all 3. Now that’s a holy trinity

On the list at a few places for a 992 RS 🤞🏻. Will have to wait till 2029 (25 year import rule) to get a 996 RS unless I manage to find one of the few US legal examples here under the show and display law, but one of those would probably cost a fortune to get.

One of the reasons I like the 997RS is because it doesn't have the side intakes. To my eyes, they are ugly.
FWIW, I owned a 991.2 GT3 and a 991.2 3RS. I believe the sound of the standard GT3 was better from inside the car because the side intakes softened the tone a bit.
