Why both GT3 and GT3 RS?
I noticed a lot of you own both a 2007 GT3 and a 2007 GT3 RS. I was just curious why you would own two cars that are so similar. I can understand a TT or a C4 with a GT3, but owning two track toys that command such high prices was just throwing me off. Nothing malicious intended, I'm curious.
In the next year or two I'm hoping to upgrade the old 911 for one of these. After a lot of research I don't see much of a benefit to the RS except a fancy paint job and adjustable wing, am I missing something?
Any help is appreciated

RS clutch and lower numbers in the US we dont get the full effect of the RS package. The guys own 2 because they can. I own one because I cant.(afford an RS or both)

Thank you for telling me how stupid I am. I really wish I had as much brains as money, I could really be somebody. Life would be so much more wonderful. Thank's for your tremedous insight, I know it was not meant as an insult rather to help me be less stupideerrr.

I mis-punctuated my response, it should have read:
"More money than brains?"
Didn't mean to make you feel bad. You've made it clear to us that that's not the case.

Hey, I think it's great. I just was wondering if they really were that much different that it would be worth owning two (although I probably wouldn't be able to justify it myself, or to the girlfriend/CFO even if I had the money to do that )
Peter, do you drive one GT3 on the track and one on the road?
FYI, I'm leaning towards a 996 GT3 at the moment as it works better for me right now but I still just had to ask. I mean, three of you in this thread have both the regular GT3 and the RS!
