Man,
I wish I could afford 2 of the same! Maybe if I sell my kids and wife I can get a 993 RS Clubsport...

Really can't see any point at all in owning both at the same time, but hey each to their own , so if some want to, then good on them enjoy

I've been very close to getting a 3 to track and keeping the RS to drool on. But, I'm in the minority...just love the RS!

Other way around - RS for the track and 3 to flog on the street - at least that's the approach I'm taking.

I have a fine example of each series Mk 1 as per RUF RGT, MkII as per 996 GT3 and RS as in 997RS. I wanted to get a normally aspirated GT series started. I have one for me and each of my 5 year old boys.
I am spending my kids college money, and driving on the track while I can see, still have reflexes, and can remember what i did yesterday.

Depending on series, the hp difference from a GT3 to GT3RS is not really very much yet the price difference is huge

you want both GT3 and GT3RS.

GT3 for everyday commute. (a very exciting daily driver 911)

GT3RS for weekend drives and peacocking cars n coffee. Garage candy.

With all that being said, a GT3 can also be saved for just weekend drives and coffee events.
A GT3RS is not something you can also use for the everyday commute however.

Quick Reply: Why both GT3 and GT3 RS?
