Why both GT3 and GT3 RS?

Got allocation on the GT3 first....Then the RS became a reality...couldn't refuse either one.
RS in LA for now: long term Keeper?
GT3 in North CA (home): Daily driver & track toy, gone when lease is up.
No brains, or money left!

it's strange, every 3 weeks, i have an urge to buy a GT3. sometimes i win, sometimes i succumb to buying something. witness i have had three 996GT3's.
it's hard to describe. you drive the RS, you love it, and you want another for SPARE. hell if i had more money and less brain (by the way, i much much prefer money than brain cells), i would buy two RS, in identical color and option. i have had two identical mz3c's at the same time, two bug turbos same time, two caymans at the same time.. and worst yet, the pairs are IDENTICAL, other than odometer and license plate and VIN, you cannot tell them apart.
i collect very fine fountain pens, not the POS montblanc one sees everyhwere, and a few watches, i also collect them in pairs...
i wish i can have a pair of wives to help fund my strange habits.
it has nothing to do with logic, buddy. it's something you just DO.
oh, i also had a pair of identical 996c2, 996c4s.
come to think of it, my suits are bought in identical pairs also....

Well I guess I started a bit of controversy here. Regardless, I think it's great, I was just curious as to why, so don't lump me into the group that thinks you guys are stupid for owning two great cars.
